In a botanical garden, a tree is a witness to the passing centuries through three protagonist stories : 2020, a neuroscientist from Hong Kong, 1972, a young student, and 1908, the university's first female student. The ancient ginkgo tree brings them closer to what it means to be human : to their longing to belong.
