Jean Kluger, who was 50 years the producer and publisher of Will, has asked director Dominique Deruddere for filming his vision of the artist. 'The Emperor of the Flemish song' is keen on his privacy, but in this movie is on the basis of private photo and film material, for the first time, a picture formed of the personal side of the artist. The result is an uncompromising picture of 's mans rich filled life that off screen is told by Jan Decleir.
