Synopsis
Azul is escaping from the world. She seeks refuge on a desert beach, to forget the death of her husband and only child. Living with the sea's rhythm, its furious and repetitive movement, Azul attempts to make sense of her life. A wounded dog becomes her sole companion, and a fisherman brings her a little subsistence.
This powerful and visual film carries us away to a distant, unknown Argentina of majestic and desolate landscapes. Diego Martinez Vignatti invites us to a cinematographical experience through this gripping and intimate portrait of a woman in mourning.
