Ogyarmat is a small Hungarian village on the Austrian border. The people there are gloomy, as the future is not bright. One day, oil gushes forth and with it hope... but also dissension and the start of an incredible unruliness. The idea isn't new, but, when well used, it always works. And for his first film, Tamás Keményffy has found a tone and some staging tricks which suit his subject marvellously.
