Arnold Schwarzenegger is an Austrian-American bodybuilder, actor, businessman and politician, currently serving as the 38th Governor of the state of California.
Arnold gained worldwide fame as a Hollywood action film icon. Schwarzenegger was nicknamed "The Austrian Oak" and "The Styrian Oak" in his bodybuilding days, "Arnold Strong" and "Arnie" during his acting career, and more recently "The Governator" (a portmanteau of Governor and Terminator, referring to his internationally popular film role).
He became well-known as actor in action films such as Conan the Barbarian, Terminator, Predator, Total Recall and The 6th Day. He also did a number of comedies: Twins, Kindergarten Cop, Junior, True Lies,...
Schwarzenegger is married to Maria Shriver and has four children.
