Synopsis
England, 1968. Rita (Sally Hawkins) is working at the Ford plant in Dagenham. With the other women, she sews the linings of the car seats. The relaxed atmosphere in the workshop comes to an end when they realize that the men on the assembly line have a much higher salary just because they are men. With the support of a union delegate (Bob Hoskins) and to the astonishment and despair of the (only male) bosses.
