About to turn 40, Vincent lives alone with his daughter Lucy and earns his living by driving a taxi instead of being a photographer. Today, his mother is overjoyed because they finally found "her" cancer. She asks Vincent to promise that he will house his father for a few weeks, the time it takes for her to recover. But Vincent hasn't spoken to his father in 10 years. To find himself confronted with "the ogre" as he calls him, in his own home, would be a trip back to the darkness of his childhood. But how can Vincent, "the nice boy", refuse his mother's request?
