Synopsis
In France there are about 400,000 Yenish, a nomadic population of European origin. Jean-Charles Hue is a visual artist and filmmaker of gypsy origins rooted in Serbia. He went to the French town of Beauvais to make a film with the Dorkel clan of the Yenish community. Respect for the old generation and religious devotion go hand in hand with vandalism and violence. The result, La BM du Seigneur, is a film halfway between documentary and fiction in which the actors spontaneously act themselves.
