Funuke - Show Some Love, You Losers!

Sumika and Kiyomi are sisters and rivals, with their big brother Shinji coming between them. Sumika who wishes to be an actress in Tokyo, returns to the village of her birth for her parents' funeral. Through flashbacks we learn the origins of the family rivalries: Sumika threatened her father with a knife to get money; Kiyomi published a manga on family disappointments, which didn't go down too well. After the burial, and with no inheritance in sight, Sumika decides to offer her talents to a young director. By way of reply, he suggests she write a script based on her family. Caught up in this new assignment, Sumika shows herself to be increasingly kind and tolerant. From then on, everything changes for the dysfunctional unit.
