Cendrillon au Far West

From fairy tales by Perrault and the Grimm brothers to the Walt Disney production, there have been a thousand ways for Cinderella to suffer humiliation at the hands of her sisters and unfair treatment from her stepmother. Cinderella, as a character, will never go away and in this new picture, the Far West of legend, with its saloons, six-guns and showdowns, has much in common with the fantasy world of Peter Pan, which opens up endless vistas of storytelling, it being a fact that in this world, outlaws are riding vultures while pirates' ships ply an ocean of sand.
